Headmaster’s Newsletter. 07/2017

14 June 2017                                                                                                                                  07/2017

Dear Parents

We have had a fantastic start to the term in all areas of the School. The Eagles have soared against the likes of Churchill and Lomugundi. Our Hockey Boys have done us proud in beating St Johns College and the Hockey Girls had a great outing against Peterhouse Girls defeating them 4-0.

Please support your children where you can and come and watch them compete.

We continue to be active in cultural Activities from Debate to Chess and our Head Girl Paidamoyo Chirimunjiri exhibited what it means to be a good Eaglesvale citizen by taking it upon herself to donate sanitary wear to girls at an Orphanage in Goromonzi.

Eaglesvale is a proud member of The Association of Trust Schools offering the Cambridge Curriculum. Both of these organisations demand a high standard from Schools associated with them and whilst there are areas that we can improve we are certainly very representative in terms of what our School offers and the way it performs in relation to other member Schools.

We will in our continued striving for excellence be closing for half term on Wednesday the 21st June at 4:30 pm to allow our staff to participate in training on Thursday 22nd June. Please note that the School offices will be closed from Thursday 22nd June through to Monday 26th June. The Second half of the term commences on Tuesday 27th June. You have been sent the Mid Year Examination timetable this morning.

Finally can I remind you all that the final half of this terms fees are due on or before Wednesday 21st June and your accounts need to be settled or you need to have a signed Payment Plan in Place to avoid any penalties.

Yours sincerely

D W Anderson
